WHAT I LIKED ABOUT THIS BOOK : I grew up in a small town in southern Louisiana, surrounded by small rice farms. I live in a larger city nowadays but wouldn’t mind a small farm existence. I think that is why Eugene Doyle’s book caught my attention. Beneath the sleepy tale of a farm getting ready for a long winter’s nap, there is a tribute to the hard working men and women who run those very farms not only for their won families, but to keep the entire country going strong! Illustrator, Becca Stradtlander, provides richly detailed drawings to give the reader a sense of the complexity of farm life. Readers of all ages will enjoy SLEEP TIGHT FARM. A great addition to any library!
