WHAT I LIKED ABOUT THIS BOOK :   I love most picture books about life near the sea and this one is no exception. Author Kelly Jordan invites young readers to join in one little girl’s fun as she goes on a summer vacation to THE LITTLE BLUE COTTAGE by the sea. The house itself seems to come alive as it trembles with excitement when it sees the little girl has returned. Illustrator Jessica Courtney-Tickle’s lovely drawings invite children to turn the page and delve into life by the sea. But even little girls have to grow up sometime, and the little blue cottage wonders if it will ever hear the laughter of children ringing through its rooms once again? You’ll have to check out this cute book to find out what happens next! A fun addition to any library!
