WHAT I LIKED ABOUT THIS BOOK : I really enjoy reading picture books. Every so often I will come across a debut author and find their story so fascinating that I can’t wait to see what they write next! Author/illustrator Leah Gilbert wrote that kind of debut picture book. Her illustrations are a great compliment to this lyrical, whimsical story about what happens when llama discovers a mysterious object in the field. Is it hungry? Does it want to play? Young readers will love turning the pages to find out if Llama makes a new friend. A great addition to any library!
